He backtracked and accepted a stay with the Wizards worth 6 years and $111 million, as if he was doing them a huge favor for taking a small cut from the maximum. If he gets hurt again next year, they may be regretting this move for a long time. Golden State is still fuming over Baron Davis. It is being reported that they are now in talks with signing Clipper Corey Maggette. They have a lot of cap space now, and plan to offer him more than the mid-level salary, which is more than any other team is willing to pay. It looks like Elton Brand is intent on staying in L.A.
